Satisfaction survey reports
Enhancing employee satisfaction is key to business success, and satisfaction surveys are a powerful tool in achieving this goal. Discover how leveraging these surveys can provide valuable insights and drive continuous improvement.
Please note that satisfaction surveys are sent to employees when a request is marked as resolved. Every workspace can view its own satisfaction survey report; only workspace admins and org admins have access to these reports.
- Go to Analytics > Workspaces > [Workspace name] > Satisfaction survey.
How the Duration filter works
The Duration filter (Today, Yesterday, This week, This month, This quarter, This year, Last week, Last month, Last quarter, or a custom range) sets the start and end of the reporting period in your time zone. You can't pick future dates.
This report counts survey responses received in the period, not requests created in it. A % change compares the selected period with the period of the same length just before it. Deleted requests are always left out, and request filters (such as priority or request type) apply to the request each survey belongs to. For the full set of filters and operators, and how to save a filter combination as a view, see Filtering reports and saving views.
How to read this report
Each workspace sets its own survey scale (2-point, 3-point, or 5-point). Each scale's options are mapped to a positive or negative category, and the report uses that mapping to calculate satisfaction. If a request has more than one survey response, only the latest one counts.
| Metric name | Note |
|---|---|
| Overall employee satisfaction | The percentage of survey responses that were positive, with the change against the previous period. Formula: positive responses ÷ all rated responses × 100 Positive responses are: - For the 2-point scale: Helpful - For the 3-point scale: Good - For the 5-point scale: Excellent and Good |
| Ratings | The percentage of responses at each rating option, such as Excellent to Very bad, depending on your survey scale. |
| Surveys sent vs response received | The graph plots three counts: - Surveys sent: requests that were sent a survey, including unanswered ones. - Responses received: requests whose survey was answered. - Written feedback: answered surveys that include a comment. Each request counts once, even if it was surveyed more than once. A survey counts toward the period it was sent in if it hasn't been answered, or the period it was answered in if it has. |
